Sitting in the driveway this morning with the pup and toddler doing some reflecting on life when I observe two different pet waste removal company trucks drive by.
I did some research and found at least five different companies in Austin that offer this service. I guess I’ve been living under a rock to have never noticed this before.
Shows you how great the economy was doing that there was enough demand for this service that it could create the need for five businesses in this area to be born. These companies have great names too:
Scoop Wizards
Poop 911Austin
The Poop Scoop
Doody Calls (my personal favorite)
Austin Poop Patrol
Have to think the post-corona economy will not be too kind to these guys going forward.
How much do people pay for this service? I am guessing it’s pretty reasonable. I also wonder what starting pay is for a professional dog shit remover.
