....and does the decade of mediocrity finally take it's toll, as it looks like we will be walking through the thick mud for at least one additional season, having potentially taken a dump on the 2 best rated classes in Texas HS football, back to back, in maybe 2 decades. I am not sure which way I am headed, but I do know I will not be renewing my 4 season tickets with the status quo of this program in place. To quote Bill Parcells, we are who our record says we are. A middle of the pack program, in an, at best, average conference. I can no longer comfortably dish out $5-10k in good conscience when I just don't enjoy it that much anymore.

I have been a diehard Longhorn fan for decades, and a season ticket holder for 20 seasons. I don't know how to describe what I feel as anything other than complete apathy. The game vs Kansas got canceled? So? We may decide not to play in a bowl game, or there may be no bowl games? Fine..... Not sure what I will be doing next season during the fall, but I won't be spending large amounts of time, money, or emotion, on the Mr. Pibb of College football any longer. I do think I may circle 3 games between college powerhouses from all over the country and try to make 2-3 of those over the next few years, but aside from that I need to get a new hobby.

Also, I am not trying to dissaude ANYONE from being a giant fan, who gives large donations annually, and attends all games. You do you. You aren't wrong, you and I just have different opinions.
