Sorry if this has already been discussed here, but I just came across it.
Andrew Bustamante (former CIA) did an Ask Me Anything on Reddit, and the following question was asked:
“Are there any secret societies or powerful people that have huge influence on the intelligence community?”
His answer: “Texas A&M and the Mormon Church. That’s not a joke.”
Seemingly all of the subsequent comments were surrounding the Mormon church and how that makes sense due to their mission work all over the world, speaking multiple languages, understanding various cultures, discipline with regard to vices, etc.
But nobody seemed to ask about Texas A&M.
My question: is this common knowledge? I’ve never heard this discussed anywhere. WTF is he talking about?
