Question for stock brokers/financial professionals (reports)

given the unprecedented levels of corruption and manipulation by our government on seemingly endless levels i am wondering

how can we expect financial reporting ( employment #. manufacturing figures and jobs reports not to ultimately succumb to similar manipulation


is there a 3rd party or some arms length process in any of this ?
