As bad as our qb's, especially Swoopes, are at throwing the ball out didn't help matters that we had receivers who couldn't catch it anyway. John Burt has a lot of promise he was a true freshman last year. We have Hemphill Mapps coming in. Are there other receivers on the roster I don't know about? Do the coaches have enough confidence in them that they felt we didn't need to go after more receivers?

With the addition of LJH, we have 14 scholarship WRs now. I think that's plenty to choose from. I actually think we'll see some attrition in this unit this Spring as well (i.e. Jacorey Warrick, Jake Oliver, Garrett Gray, etc).

The ones I'm excited about this Fall are John Burt and Collin Johnson. Think those 2 are going to be deadly.

We have Collin Johnson, Reggie Hemphill, and Davion Curtis coming in. I think the are replenishing the talent at that position fine. Until one of our qbs learns the concept of a forward pass it doesn't really matter. QB play is what we will either succeed or fail from.

I think a lot of the names from classes before the 2014 class can be written off. I don't think this staff likes many of them. But the staff is replacing that talent fine. There is no point in log jamming our WR core by taking 5 guys in one class.

Ever since I saw Collin Johnson's JR highlights Ive been sold on him. He looked better as a junior route running, catching, body positioning, feet, etc etc etc than anything we already had on campus. Burt showed similar skills this past season, but I fully expect Collin to be our best receiver from day 1.

That is saying a lot because Burt is a future NFL player.

I looked at the star ratings and undervalued our receivers on campus and the ones ocoming in. Glad that we are in good shape.

Add LJH to the list of WRs. Looking at Burt being the shortest of the three.

If Collin stays healthy, he WILL be an NFL receiver too. Watch his junior highlight. Hes crisp and refined, and hes big. I think he can be better than Roy Williams was for us. The issue will be who is throwing the ball. Im excited about having Burt and Collin on either side of the field and letting them just run.
