To be honest I haven't seen them play. CJ Stroud appears to be a decent qb he's won a couple of division titles and playoff games and Joe Mixon is still in the league. Can they beat the chiefs?

Can they? Absolutely. Will they....not very likely. Oddly enough, they are a lot like our Horns were this season. Stout opportunistic defense with a bi-polar offense. When clicking, they can fill up the scoreboard then other times they stagnate. Mixon has really come alive as of late though. Should be an entertaining game.

Nixon just imagines the defense is wearing blonde wings and pretending to call him the "n" word.

I'll echo Guaranteed and add on

Texans Offense actually reminds me of 2024/25 Longhorn. We will be king of 3 and Out and then rattle off 21 like Mike Leach TTU. Sometimes twice in a game, sometimes once or not at all.

Stroud is wildly inconsistent but he likes to attack the middle of the field and can make every big time throw. Makes A LOT of good choices when there isn't a lot there.

KC has too many weapons and Mahomes is getting to the prime of his career. And call me a conspiracy theorist but NFL and refs follow the keep KC guide line.

We're also down Tank Dell and Stefon Diggs.

Anyway I think Ravens are more build to sustain long drives and beat up KC Offense to pull the upset.

It will be 23 degrees with gusty winds and a wind chill of 11 in an outdoor stadium. I'm thinking KC is a little more suited for those conditions.

Well the Texans are hanging in there. But they keep bogging when they get to the 25 yard line. It's 13/6 at halftime and they get the ball to start the second half.

It's for too be frustrating for a defense you take can't touch Patrick Mahomes. I know he's a great player everyone does. He may end up the goat before he's through.

But I've never seen a qb so protected.

In the end the OL let the Texans down this year.
They just said that Stroud had the 2nd most sacks in the NFL this year. Ridiculous ! Texans better fix that OL over the off season or Stroud will eventually end up getting killed ---- or leave

You can't breath on the the guy. He's more protected than Brady ever was.

I think Stroud is a fine qb and if they build a team around him the Texans have a great future.

Getting in with the rest of the NFL playoffs. If you've forgotten let me remind you Saquon Barkley is a bad man. The rams did pretty good but he rips off a 62 then 78 and the eagles are in the title game. Their defense is really strong. Oh and Moro Ojomo got a sack. Nice to see a longhorn playing in the NFL' best defense.

When he was on the field Jordan Whittington played well. A special teams tackle, a lock return, and a couple of catches. The rams are deep at receiver but if JW can stay healthy he can add another dimension. Imagine having him and Puca Nucoa are the slot at the same time.

And when he was healthy he had 22 catches for 293 yards.

He can be a quality role player wherever he is. He'll never be "the man"-- but you can make a damn good living in the NFL as a slot receiver that grabs 50 balls a year and averages 12 yards a stab.
He just needs to keep his head down, work hard and stay healthy.

He has the first two but the last one has affected his career.

Saint Darrell Royal once said "sports doesn't build character it eliminates the week ones"

You get an all pro tight end like Mark Andrews. He's got great hands he hasn't fumbled in 6 years. The ravens are rolling for a go ahead td it was a first down but Mark Andrews fumbled and the bills recovered. The go down and kick a fg. But the ravens still have chance they're down only 8. They score a td but they have to go for 2. The pass is there but Andrews drops it. And the ravens beat themselves. AGAIN.

Saint Darrell was a wise man.
