There was word on the boards last night that Fowler was officially in and had enrolled at Texas. I checked with a source earlier today and just heard back. I'm told that Fowler still has to finish his summer school course, so things are still up in the air.
On the bright side, in talking to Sam Ehlinger last week, Ehlinger said he had been in contact with Fowler this summer and Fowler had told him he'll be ready to go for the fall.
And, as Alex Dunlap noted, Fowler made the following post on snapchat on Friday morning:
We'll have to continue to wait this one out a bit, but I was told just now that Fowler still has a little more work to do before he's in.
