I dropped a note in the recruiting thread, but figured this deserved its own post.
Smith Orogbo is set to undergo surgery on Wednesday and will be out for the rest of his senior season. Knee surgery but not ligament related.
Orogbo is keeping a positive outlook and is looking forward to still being around his team and helping coach the younger guys up.
He has a few other schools that hit him up (including Michigan) but says he's still locked in with his Texas commitment.
Good luck to Orogbo with the surgery and best wishes for a speedy and full recovery.
