Not much to report yet, but I spoke to former UCLA defensive tackle Jay Toia very briefly today. He and his family are about to head to the airport to fly home so he asked if we could connect later.
Toia did say it was a very good visit overall. I'll try to connect with him when he gets back to Cali to get more details on the visit.
Just reading the tea leaves on this one, I still think this one looks good for UT ... he entered the portal on Thursday and was in Austin on Friday, he has connections to Johnny Nansen, his younger brother accompanied him on the trip and picked up a UT offer ... add it all up and Toia to Texas makes a lot of sense.
