I know there are a lot of Dodger fans on OB so wanted to get some thoughts.
I was thinking about who the Dodgers may pursue at the 2025 trade deadline. I’m looking at guys in their last year who might be available for a short-term rental.
Off the top of my head, Vladamir Guerrero, Jr. might be a nice fit to give Freddie Freeman a rest and come in for situational pitch hitting. I would think they may sign someone to shore up the starting pitching. Maybe a left handed pitcher for a #6 or #7 starter? Maybe a Jordan Montgomery or Chris Sale?
Whoever it is, I really look for the Dodgers to be active at this year’s All-Star Break to shore up the team for the playoff run.
