Quinn does not thank Jesus for helping him complete the 4th-down pass. Rather, he attributes his calmness on the field to his belief that, win or lose, Jesus still loves him. I don't know anything about his faith formation, but this statement exhibits such a deep understanding of the role that Jesus plays in human lives. And I appreciate his witness.
