What confusing/conflicting reports. If he's not dead Then apologize for the mis-info. It appears they have pulled the plug on life support but he may not be dead yet. Who knows

I read they found him unconscious in full cardiac arrest. The brain loses function by the minute at that point. If they did detect a pulse and got some oxygen in there, who knows? Miracles do happen

It has been confirmed just a few minutes ago that Tom Petty is no longer with us. This is crushing news for me. Tom Petty was part of my generation. I remember when American Girl came out on the radio. As far as I'm concerned every album he ever did was great and I can't say that about a lot of bands. The Beatles, U2, Springstein maybe a couple of others but that would be it.

Who here bought the Traveling Wiburys? I did. 5 legendary musicians blended together perfectly. I will miss him very much.

A full life that was lived well but gone too soon.
