6 years ago on this date a member of the board gave us the tragic news of the passing of Christian Meroney a.k.a., Meroney04. He had informed the board that Chris had been shot and killed answering his door at his apartment residence on South Lamar by some lunatic.
Chris' killer was eventually found not guilty of his crime by reason of insanity but was committed.
At a tailgate later that 2018 year, there was an OB tailgate with commemorative T-Shirts that had this photo of Chris and his beloved Piper.
