Updated link to the rankings.
Thoughts on the final changes to a list I've made changes to nearly 10 times.
a. Here's the star breakdown at the very end
5 stars (1-4)
High 4 stars (5-9)
Mid 4 stars (10-19)
Low to mid four stars (20-34)
Low four stars (35-46)
High three stars (47-79)
Mid 3 stars (80-100)
b. I went back and forth over who should be the No.1 player and at one point in the last seven days, I've had three different players in that spot. I ended up going with Walker Little because I think he has the lowest basement of the four guys I gave four star rankings to.
c. K'Lavon Chaisson made one of the bigger moves at the top of the list following his showing in the All-America game. I felt like of the other guys in his tier (top 10), he had done the most to warrant that pole position among 4.75 graded players.
d. Cedarian Lamb was the other guy that jumped into the top 10 that wasn't there previously.
e. Pretty sure I like TYrell Shavers more than anyone. Montrell Estelle, too.
f. Tylan Wallace made a big jump to No.20. I originally had him as a top five prospect and I just decided that my original evaluation was closer than my previous one.
g. Jayden Peevy and Josh Thompson are guys that I thought had to be in the top 25. Both have huge ceilings.
h. Shawn Robinson is my highest rated Rivals three-star prospect. I still believe in his ceiling as a four-star prospect.
i. LaGaryonn Carson dropped to 40. It has to matter that we don't know that we'll ever see him on a D1 campus.
j. Here's a look at commitment breakdowns
Top 10
Ohio State 3
Undecided 2
Alabama 1
LSU 1
Notre Dame 1
Oklahoma 1
Stanford 1
Top 25
Texas 5 (Ehlinger, Estelle, Carter, Miller and Thompson)
Ohio State 3
Oklahoma 3
Undecided 3
Alabama 2
LSU 2
Texas A&M 2
Notre Dame 1
Oklahoma State 1
Stanford 1
TCU 1
Texas Tech 1
FYI, Estelle and Thompson are the UT commits that I rank higher than probably everyone else. I've had Estelle as a top 10-15 prospect before he had a single offer. Thompson is one of the top three most underrated players in the state IMO.
Top 50
Texas 8
Texas A&M 8
Undecided 6

LSU 4
Ohio State 3
Alabama 2
