A hint of reality from Aggie there.
Don't let their excuses fool you, the very last thing on planet Earth the Ags want is to continue losing to Texas.

I do miss the old SWC games between UT and Arky. Those were some great games to watch.Actually our rivalry with AR is even more lopsided than the a&m rivalry. It's almost a 3 to 1 advantage in Texas favor. If you go back and see the history of the TX/AR game you'll see that TX always won it mattered. And one last thing if there's one team that a&m has pushed around since they've joined the SEC it's AR.
lFvcking hell man! Go sooner wax nostalgic on a sooner board bro. Nobody wants to play the sheep shearers anymore. Drop it. Never again. If you're girl cheats on you, you kick her to the curb and you go get a newer, hotter, naughtier girl.

Rather than casual fan vs. die hard, I'd say forgiving vs. vengeful.
Clob is making my point. For some Horns, it's a personal thing and they'll never forgive the Aggies. Just like some Aggies will go to their graves with a hatred for Deloss Dodds, I'm sure.Never again. If you're girl cheats on you, you kick her to the curb ...

The students clearly want it. Recruits would get another look, showcasing these two programs. College football fans outside our state want it. The networks and advertisers probably want it to return. If that's true, it's a matter of time... But that Thanksgiving slot, will we get that back?
The 69 game @arky, gas stations wouldn't sell to cars with Texas plates. You had to gas up in Texarkana before entering the wilderness. Darrell said afterwards, "After the game, we get to go home."I do miss the old SWC games between UT and Arky. Those were some great games to watch.
tradition is leaving college football too fast.

Almost always, but not quite. See 1964 and 1981.
