A good man and great coach. This kind of man is always missed.

Sorry to read,He really understood and respected the game of football at all levels.I sat next to him at a Cotton Bowl Hall of Fame induction in Dallas one day.He had some good teams At Texas Tech,was an assistant coach at Texas 72-76.He would tell the story that he would fly recruits into Lubbock at night so they would not see the flat,barren,few trees landscape of Lubbock.Super Guy,God Bless him
