Just confirmed through a source that Rivals250 OL Chuck Filiaga will be in Austin today for an unofficial visit.
Filiaga has visited Texas previously but is obviously a top target of the new staff. The Aledo standout has already taken a few official visits (Oklahoma, Oregon, Michigan) so getting him on campus is huge for Texas. Michigan and USC are major players in this one as well.
Also, in case you missed it last night, the entire Texas coaching staff and several support staff members were at the Westlake-Lake Travis game last night. Included in that group was none other than former Longhorn all-American and Thorpe Award winner Michael Huff, who is listed as a defensive quality control coach for UT. Huff, and other support staff members, can do off-campus evaluations since UT has yet to fill out its entire coaching staff.
