The wind was blowing strong from the north for the Lake Travis v Westlake game. LT won the coin toss and deferred. Westlake took the ball with the wind in their face. After Lake Travis deferred, instead of receiving the kick, did Westlake have the option of playing with the wind at their back in the first quarter? If yes, would Lake Travis then have the option of receiving or kicking?

Westlake could have taken the wind and kicked. They would have risked kicking off both halves.
