His teams have always been very well prepared and in position

Pretty sweet to snag Fields and Sermon as immediate transfers. Different team without them.

still an awesome coach

The reason we can’t Is that CDC is lazy and does zero leg work snd interviews

What is the story with Sermon transferring there? Anyone know why he left OU to go there?

Coaches play a part in that aspect as well. Day seems to have very few weaknesses as a coach.

If you’re leaving as the starter of a top
5 program, you don’t have very many options.

Bama - nope
Clemson - nope
Osu - only fit

Midwest version of Lincoln Riley.
I think he is better than Riley.. Riley has yet to win a really big game.. The Big 12 Championship against Iowa State and a developing Texas team are nice but in the final four (and yes he got there) he choked against Georgia and in his other 2 appearances got run out of the building and was talked about the same way that Notre Dame is being talked about i.e. as if they should not be allowed back in the tournament..

Riley is a good coach but in spite of thumping Florida which is over rated their defense is still mediocre in regard to true championship caliber defenses.. And the level of play across the board is bad in the conferences.. For proof look at the performance of the Big 12 teams in bowl games in what is a bad year for quality play in the Big 12..

Texas has to get the right coach one that doesn't immerse the program in chaos that he continually creates, recruiting changes and the culture takes a huge leap forward.. Its simple and hinges on that right hire.. Fingers crossed that we get that right this time...
