5-star WR Ryan Wingo will announce his decision today at 4 p.m.
There was actually some buzz coming out of the St. Louis area last night that Texas might be making a late push. Upon checking, I'm told there's not much confidence in Austin on Texas being the pick.
I'm fully expecting Missouri to be the pick today.
10:20 a.m. update: I will say this ... as of just now, there is a bit of a level of concern on the Mizzou side from what I'm gathering. Personally, I think it's gamesmanship by Wingo but that's the word I just got from a source I trust. Wingo and his camp building up the suspense? Has Texas made a late move? We'll see.
11:38 a.m. update (from Ketch) - On Monday, I got the sense that Texas felt its NIL situation was better than Missouri's, but there wasn't a lot of confidence that it would ultimately make a difference.
On Wednesday, confidence has grown.
Stay tuned.
12:08 p.m. update - Yet another source indicating increased confidence in the pick being Texas as of lunchtime today. I don't get the impression anyone has been told anything definitively, but the tone has definitely changed from about 10 p.m. last night.
