This shit just doesn’t need to be said. It’s an insult disguised as a backhanded compliment to a dude who epitomizes everything we want in a Longhorn player. Sam would be welcome on this team for 10 years if it was allowed
One word...CLASS! He did leave it all on the field every game. His heart is bigger than any player since Earl. While it might be time to move on everyone on this board should appreciate who he was and what he meant for this program !
Absolute class act and legendary Longhorn. We are so lucky to have had him over the last few years. He is the epitome of a leader and an excellent representative of this school. Good luck in everything you do, Sam🤘
Now that is what didn't need to be said. Players have never received 10 year scholarships before and they're never going to either.
Sam will forever be remembered for his character first and foremost and that is way more important than anything else.

I love the story of Sam and the Texas Longhorns. The young man bleeds burnt orange and gave it his all on every snap, in every game. He is a Longhorn Legend without a doubt.
