Taking our little man on a surprise 5th birthday trip to the San Diego Zoo, Legoland, etc. at the end of April. I went to the San Diego Zoo and Safari Park when I was 11, so I can’t really recall any additional excursions we made back then. We’ll also have our 1 year old daughter with us but she’s a super easy baby so don’t feel like recs need to be overly tailored to her.
Right now we have locked down the zoo and Legoland as things we absolutely must do, but looking for additional recs that may be fun for our little man. I want to make this trip as special as possible for him. I think we’re leaning away from the safari park as of now since we’ll likely spend a full day at the zoo itself, and I think by then he’ll be burnt out on seeing the animals. The aquarium is an option but we have a similar thought process there, unless anyone on here thinks it’s worth it to include that as well.
Food, fun, specific beach recs, etc. are all appreciated. TIA!!
