Sarkisian

Yeah I posted that earlier. It would be a strong staff... Kyle Flood would help the OL issues for sure. Bama has been cranking out OL prospects

From CDC's comment, it seems obvious that Sark has some folks coming with him.
Kyle Flood would be great
I am intrigued by Jeff Banks. Not sure how good he is as a coach. But, he seems to have had a big impact on recruiting on Bama and Aggy before that.
Could Muschamp come in as an LB coach under Ash? I do not see Ash taking a demotion to allow Muschamp to call the defense. It would be great to have Muschamp on the staff.

I think it’s obvious Kyle Flood is coming with Sark he was with Sark at Atlanta, and followed him from Atlanta to Bama, so I’d be shocked if he didn’t come. I think it’s a strong start to the staff. DC I think retaining ash makes sense, but Muschamp would be ok too

Curious because I didn’t see but was Iowa St coach Matt Campbell just not a take or not interested? I’ve always been impressed with him.

Hearing reports of Sark bringing OL coach Kyle Flood with him. He was supposedly very important in recruiting the Brockermeyers. I also heard that Sark plans to reach out to Ewers as well.

Honestly I don’t see what CDC seen from previous stops that made him ckoose this coach . No Texas ties , I hope I’m wrong but 46-35 don’t impress me.

I see that the Brockermeyers have signed letters of intent. What does that mean? Could they enter the transfer portal?

I think Sark understands he has to have a great staff and he has been around long enough to have contacts. Herman didn’t understand that when he got here and brought his buddies. Sark has more upside than Herman in that regard. I also think he will hire great recruiters.

I agree. Sark has had a very rare oppertunity to work for two all time great HC’s in Pete Carroll and Nick Saban. He’s been a part of stud staffs. I mean he and Lane Kiffin ran the offense together at USC. The reason Herman didn’t succeed here is because he wasn’t ready for the job and it consumed him. Sark is at a completely different point in his career and life.

Take off the orange tinted glasses. This is an uphill slog for Sark. Regardless of the coordinators he brings in, nobody is going to be able to change the culture. It starts at the TOP. Muschamp and Ash can't exist in the same space. Too much ego between the two. You put too many former head coaches on a staff together and you MAY get some continuity the first year or two, because everyone is on their best behavior. But after that, it becomes Game of Thrones----- UNLESS you have a personality at the head job that nips that sh!t in the bud. Sark doesn't have that Alpha in him. Saban does. Meyer does. Sark does not.

Most staffs that are worth anything aren’t together more than a couple years anyway, but I agree with you Ash and Musxhamp won’t be here together. I think Sark would do well for himself to keep the defensive staff in tact to be honest.

Don't shoot the messenger, but Mark Elfenbein on 1310 KTCK in Dallas said this morning there are whispers that UT is talking to Mike Stoops for DC position. I googled and found nothing.

The Soonersportsdaily reported there was a possibility MS could be the next Texas DC. . I'll probably have a nightmare tonite.

If Sark decides to go a different way one guy to keep an eye on Dan Quinn.

Sark would do well to keep what Texas already has on defense and RB coach. He can replace them after one year when we get a better idea how good they are, but I think we really have something on defense. of course if he is going to raid Bama for all their assistants I'll take it.

Stan Drayton reportedly staying put!

And Bob Sturm said that was completely false
Bob may be right about this but is f-ing blow hard that likes to hear himself talk and cannot manage to ask a question in less than 2 minutes. I would say, at best M Stoops is on the staff in some capacity, but not as defensive coordinator. Did I mention Bob Sturm is an arrogant turd that thinks he knows way more than he does?
