Sarks home listed on the market …..

Yeah it means you're two days late. Also the house was for sale before the season started, supposedly.

Maybe he wants to move to the red part of Austin😉

Really? I thought that was a prime example of the wealthy suburban white women area. Idk, haven't been involved in Austin since the late 90s.
Nahhh the older women that I've notice and spoken with are definitely Republicans. The place my sister in law has is right on LT and everyone had their Trump flags out on the balcony during the time they had that big boat parade for him. She just finished closing on a house on Lakeway as well and that area is similar.

Huge difference in people when you make your way into proper Austin. Also a lot of homeless and it just starts to look more and more like parts of California.

Oh god the homeless is out of control. Not too long ago we stopped by Stubbs bbq and we're amazed. The hords of homeless and tent cities are insane.

How long ago was that? Because I have been down a couple of times in the last 6 months and they have done a pretty good job of cleaning all of that up from what I saw.

Sometime just before all the covid mania kicked off so I guess it has been a while. Time flies when you get older.
They reinstated the public camping ban in May of last year. While it still hasn't cleaned them up all the way I have noticed a big difference in the last 15 months. My brother in law lives in Cedar Park and I usually go down there every couple of months. Back in 2020 the homeless camps were out of control all along 183.

Not sure how effective these are. But I like that they are doing it at the beginning of the season as opposed to teams doing it when their season is at the end all shot to hell and their coach on a burning hot seat.

Not sure this means much of anything honestly. Maybe they found a house they like better.

Ya.... those 7.5 million dollar houses can get boring as fvck...
Some people on this site call me negative but if one had half a brain, they might come to a conclusion like the following:

Sark to CDC: We have a top 5 recruiting class and I would like to get my assistants extended past next year....

CDC to Red: Red, Sark wants his assistants extended past next year.

Red to CDC: 5-7 ~ no, but I may get him some new help that I hand pick.

CDC to Sark: 5-7 ~ no, but we'll find you some good guys if you suck again this year.

Sark: Time to get ready to go.

If we fire Sark after two years you will never get a qualified coach to take this job ever again.

Point being I don’t think this has anything to do with him getting fired, or leaving or anything of that nature. Although I’m sure this will start the urban train up again.

Let's do some common sense thinking here.

Why do people put their home on the market?

1. Because they are moving away to another city.
2. To upgrade to a bigger house.
3. To downsize to a smaller house.
4. To profit from a house bought at a low price and sell it at a high price.
5. They lost their job and can't afford it.

There--- there's your reasons.

Pretty sure you can eliminate numbers 2, 4 and 5.

#3 makes #1 easier.

Sell that 7.5 million dollar monster now before the housing market collapses and then move into a 1.5 million dollar house so when you do leave/get fired in the middle of an economic depression you only take an slight ass kicking on a 1.5 million dollar house instead of a HUGE ass kicking on a 7.5 million dollar house.

But Californians have built todays housing market in Austin, what could go wrong?
