Sarks home listed on the market …..

Let's do some common sense thinking here.

Why do people put their home on the market?

1. Because they are moving away to another city.
2. To upgrade to a bigger house.
3. To downsize to a smaller house.
4. To profit from a house bought at a low price and sell it at a high price.
5. They lost their job and can't afford it.

There--- there's your reasons.

Pretty sure you can eliminate numbers 2, 4 and 5.
So are you going on recored that Sark will not be the head coach in 2023?

I listed the 5 reasons why you list your house.

Do those reasons seem accurate in your opinion?

Are there other reasons to list a home? Remember, this is a 7.5 million dollar house. Not some 1800 Sq ft pre-fab house. It's been inspected 5 times for problems BEFORE purchase.
So if there are other reasons to list your home, please add them.

If not-- then those are the reasons. Now you are free to choose which you think is correct.

Ok but that’s not what you did. You listed the reasons yes and then you yourself eliminated all but 1 which was moving to another city, so I’ll ask again are you going On record that Sark will not be the coach at Texas next year?

now to answer your question

you eliminated number 4 on your list “to profit from a sale of a property bought at a lower price”. Can’t just dismiss that one as we don’t know what he bought it for.

as far as other reasons. Maybe the wife found a house she likes better. Maybe they don’t like their neighbors. Could be a lot of different things.

Ima copy and paste my response-- you can double check what I said by scrolling up and re-reading.

2---4----5------- that leaves............ 1 and 3.......

Two reasons. Not one.

Some people on this site call me negative but if one had half a brain, they might come to a conclusion like the following:

Sark to CDC: We have a top 5 recruiting class and I would like to get my assistants extended past next year....

CDC to Red: Red, Sark wants his assistants extended past next year.

Red to CDC: 5-7 ~ no, but I may get him some new help that I hand pick.

CDC to Sark: 5-7 ~ no, but we'll find you some good guys if you suck again this year.

Sark: Time to get ready to go.

My cancer just came back with this post man…

Trust me-- Red is simply hanging on.

How long ago was that? Because I have been down a couple of times in the last 6 months and they have done a pretty good job of cleaning all of that up from what I saw.
How do you clean up the homeless? You push them further out?

You build more shelters and enforce the public camping ban with a zero tolerance policy. They are building more shelters at the moment from what I have seen and read.
Ahh ok. Here in Houston we have shelters BUT they have rules and most homeless are either on drugs, alcohol or mentally ill so they don't follow them. They still roam the streets and we literally have campsites under bridges just like Austin had apparently. There was a time where I'd see a small amount of homeless in downtown but ever since Covid they have congregated here and are literally on every street.

Abbott made the city crack down on it last year because it was out of control. From what I have seen the last couple of times I have been down there it's not as bad as it was. It's next to impossible to get rid of all the homeless though. Taking them to jail is almost doing them a favor because they get a place to sleep and free meals for a night or 2.

It is getting better, especially around campus. Enough so that I am looking at purchasing a place for the kids. Dorms ain't cheap...

We went to the game. Walked everywhere from the AT&T conference center and didn't see anything like that. Seemed better than the last time I went to a game there back in '19

There's some empty, shut down prison facilities across Texas, that would be ideal to turn into shelters. Many in rural areas or out in the country.

From everything I have seen it's a drastic improvement from 2 years ago.

something everyone needs to understand about Red. Red doesnt spend money.....period. Beyond that whatever Red says about building winners....well....reread the first sentence. Red donates lots of money.....but he never donates a dime that does not return him dollars. When he bought the Spurs he was going to build a winner....he just would not come up with any money to keep his own players, much less bring in top free agents. Had Red not sold the Spurs(at a huge profit I might add) they would have never won one championship much less the 5 that they won.

When he bought the Vikings he was going to bring Super Bowls to the frozen North....it never happened, but Red still made a fortune selling them.

The Red McCombs School of business has returned Red many, many dollars in writeoffs and car sales.
