SCOTUS allows second black district in LA, along with AL

The Supreme Court ordered that a map with two majority black districts in Louisiana be used for the election this year.

That goes along with adding one in Alabama. So that is two seats right there that are going to flip.

Right now, the house is 217-213. There are five vacancies, all of which are in fairly one-sided districts. With everyone in Congress from these districts, it would be 221 214.

So with these two districts clearly going to flip, it’s 219-216 going into the general. Almost dead even.
