Emilia Clarke’s Reaction To The ‘Game Of Thrones’ Finale Is So Strange And Worrisome

The final season of Game of Thrones is just a month away, and your favorite actors are starting to spill some of the finale’s details. Emilia Clarke, who plays Mother of Dragons Daenerys Targaryen, is the latest character to reveal how she reacted when she found out her character’s fate, and her reaction was...not great, TBH.

This season, Daenerys and her nephew/lover/ally Jon Snow are finally going to hop aboard her dragons and try to get sh*t done and defeat the Night King while also trying to secure her spot on the Iron Throne. She’s got a lot on her to-do list, but it seems like she might not get the ending she’s hoping for, judging by Emilia’s strange reaction. Emilia said once she heard what happens to her character, she lost all sense of direction and walked through London for “three hours, aimlessly.”

She added, “It might as well have been raining and I would’ve just walked in it not knowing what to do.” Plus, there were “loads of tears” and wine on her end. “That was the moment I realized that alcohol can also be a depressant,” she said. “I was kind of nursing a glass of wine, going, ‘I don’t know why I’m not getting any happier from this.’” Um, what? This is not the kind of reaction you want to hear.

Honestly, it would probably be a good idea to pull a Cersei Lannister and have a glass of wine at the ready the whole season because this doesn’t sound good.

Sadly, Emilia isn’t the only one who was totally shook when they found out how everything ends. Gwendoline Christie (Brienne of Tarth) said, “I think just the show ending is going to send all of the world into professional help,” and Kit Harington (Jon Snow) said his wife and fellow GoT castmate Rose Leslie “wouldn’t talk to me for about three days.”

Can someone please just tell us WTH is going on in Westeros!?

It won't be a happy ending.

A lot of them die. Most main characters perish. Baratheon's iron smith illegitimate son ascends. In the final episode he takes the thrown. The End.

I have thought for awhile he was a dark horse candidate to be the last one standing with any claim.

In the books, there are tons and tons of foreshadowing that see become Jon's Nissa Nissa and he will kill her. In the show, they have cut out just about all of that, so either it was a lot of red herring / misinterpretation or the show ****ed up and are either going to do it out nowhere like an RKO or what I hope they do: do their own ending with her.

With something like this you guys HAD to figure they would kill off at least ONE main character if not more-it has gone on throughout the series.

And to be blunt would not shock me if Arya was one of them and I like Arya so Danerys and Jon's characters would be in there in therms of getting killed as well...

So why are you surprised- can any of you show me a story like this one that has a happy ending with the exception of The Lord of The Rings.

If Jon dies, I’ll be pissed. They both can’t live. Aunt and nephew is no good.

My predictions are below. They are not based on any actual knowledge of what is going to happen.

The Night King raises a lot of dead Starks.

The dead Starks are shills for the Night King.

The dead Stark shills kill a lot of people including some living Starks and Jon Snow.

The dead dragon takes out Dany, because she tries to win it back with cuddles.

Pretty much the dead guys win and everyone you like dies.

Jamie and Cersei board a boat and leave Westeros.

I think Arya and Sam make it out alive. I'm about 50/50 on Jon, Tyrion, and Sansa. For everyone else, all bets are off.

It seems like people who started out weak took their lumps for most of the series, but have slowly made themselves formidable through hard work, are being rewarded. These are the people who I think GRRM sympathizes with. Of course that doesn't mean he won't kill them off too, but I think they are the most likely to come out on top.

Arya started off as this little runt who wanted no part of the game of thrones. She thought all the lords and ladies shit was super gay, and everyone kept trying to make her their pawn as part of this game that she had nothing but contempt for. She is now trained up, and has made herself the baddest mother****er alive. She is going to spend the last season aggressively serving the many-faced god.

Sam was another guy who never was interested in being the guy his family expected him to be. He is using his talents to make himself an integral part of the upcoming war. I don't understand how he's still fat though, and while he may die of diabetes when he's 50, I think he makes it through GoT.

I think Dany is kind of a tragic hero here. There's a lot to love about her, and in a lot of ways, she means well, but she's also very harsh, and feels entitled because of her name and heritage. She's going to cause a lot of collateral damage with her dragons, which are weapons of mass destruction, and I don't think this will be rewarded in the end. When she learns of Jon's true lineage, I don't think she will take it well. She'll take a lot of bad guys down before she goes out though, and overall be a net positive for the survival of humanity.

Just my theory.

I think Danny finds out about Jon’s true lineage and then kills him in a fit of rage. She then kills herself and their unborn child.

Jk this is all a ploy to throw people off the super happy ending about to come.

Been saying it the whole time.
The series is not going to end with the night king on top, the living will win out but the carnage to most of the characters fans have grown to love will be bad.

I heard that she wanted some Latino Heat and would be visiting me soon.

Meh.... I would imagine the actors and anyone who was informed of the ending were coached up on so many different things to do and say regarding the outcome of the show. Dilution is the solution. I highly doubt anything she or anyone says isn't doctored spin.

With that said, if I find myself in a situation where someone or something spoils GOT for me I will probably lose my shit.

They all die, hope this helps.

Think back to when she had the vision of her walking through the red keep, totally destroyed with snow coming through the exposed ceiling. I think the one thing Tyrion warned her of comes true, she gets the throne, but it’s the throne of ashes with everyone dead from the Great War!

Tyrion will go down hard with the ghonorhea in episode 1.

Bronn tries to cure and resurrect him as a White Walker, but that experiment fails miserably.

The Hound ends up shagging Brienne. In a final outburst of blatant, gross nekkidness.

Didn’t the Starks build the crypt so that the dead stayed dead?
