I have mentioned before that I am the oldest of six kids with three of us who graduated from Texas and three who graduated from A&M. Every few years when we have a bye week and A&M has a home game, we will meet in College Station at my brother & sister-in-law's tailgate. They have a great setup in an RV lot with lots of grass right behind them. Today I brought my 88 year old Mom with us up there. Also there were my Longhorn brother and sister and two of my A&M brothers, my Longhorn son and our two granddaughters, a Longhorn nephew, two aggie nephews and an aggie niece. In total we had 17 family members there including a few in-laws.

My brother wanted me to make queso for the tailgate, so I made two pans of smoked queso with brisket that I smoked earlier. It was really good.

Left tailgate in time to drive home to watch the Astros game.
