- Man, give Washington credit - they are really good at every offensive position.
- Penix is incredibly accurate as a passer, and very elusive in the pocket. Really good at slipping tackles with just a slight jog right or left.
- UW's receivers are wildly superior than Texas's in this game so far. It's almost embarrassing, really.
- Speaking of embarrassing, the Texas defensive secondary has been embarrassed in the first half. Hard to see how they could have been much worse.
- The officiating on the field is an atrocity. As bad as any game Texas has had to suffer through in Big 12 play. Only a couple of good replay calls have redeemed it.
- Texas is essentially running at will. But the key is to stay balanced so UW can't slide 7 or 8 into the box.
- Baxter and Blue are one hell of a 1/2 punch.
- Blue has been outstanding in KO returns.
- We desperately need Worthy or Mitchell to step things up in the 2nd half. Just cannot win if both are non-factors.
- You have to love the TD run for Murphy. So much fun.
