Love Longhorn hard ball, watched every minute of the glorious LSU series, but dont "know" baseball.
We played a DH all weekend. Appeared to be the same player each day. That player was listed as batting around .100 (although he did get a nice hit on Sunday).
So, if a player's ONLY job is hitting (DH?), then why are we leaning on somebody who struggles to hit?
I dont know anything about the player - this is NOT a shot at the individual. I genuinely dont understand the strategy / situation / reasons.
