I'm still trying to get this confirmed through a second source, but I have received word tonight that Charlie Strong is expecting to make a change as it relates to the defensive coordinator situation.
Per a source I trust quite a bit, it is expected that Bedford will be retained on staff, but will not continue to serve as the team's defensive coordinator. Instead, Strong is expected to take over complete control and responsibility of the team's defense.
I'll update this thread when I know more, but I wanted to pass along what I've heard in the last hour.
