And as for my training yes, basic was a joke although it wasn't anything like what he described in that video. I'm sure things have changed since my visit though.
My training didn't get started until a couple weeks after basic and let me tell ya it is considered one of if not THE most difficult of ALL services with a 95% washout. Seals get the glory but here's a little known fact.... there's almost always a Scarlet beret in the mix. It's a team ya ole knuckle dragger.

I damn sure know what the PJ's are, it was hell for them in Nam with them old Bull nose chopper and a Jungle Perpetrator, there a many of down pilots that owe their ass to them, besides I really thought the Sandie's that covered their ass was awesome the way they protected the PJ's on extractions, they could mow the grass, and even today I watch that National Geographic Combat Rescue, them guys are slick as Owl shit! If I needed help, I would be glad to see them coming. It was hard war but, every now and then you see somebody really doing their job like that and you just sit in awe..

Yeah I'm ok with that. He was doing it with his team not on the field directed towards Miserys QB. I knew what we were getting with TH but I'm not that up tight about everything he does. Are you so embarrassed that you no longer wear UT gear? I doubt it.

That's cool I'm sure people will continue to go to UT Austin whether he "secures the bag" on the sideline or not. Like you said UT is more than the football program.
