Speculation: AD already working on post Herman era

I believe Chris has seen enough and realizes we have a hiring error on our hands. He'll be looking to get an elite coach. If the right one is available this year he will pull the trigger. If not, he'll work the plan next year. He will also advise Herman that unless he reaches Big XII Championship next season he will be gone (and he won't reach it). Herman hasn't delivered and it doesn't appear he knows how. Difficult situation that just must be dealt with - and the new AD will do that.
