Long story short…So my wife and I have been married almost 7 years and she has two daughters (25 & 27) from her first marriage. Didn’t even meet them until they were around 16. Have a very cordial, nice, and respectful relationship with both…. But I certainly don’t feel for them the way I do about my own 2 kids (boy 22 / girl 20).
Anyway older step daughter is about to have her first child and I was just wondering if any of you experienced being a step grandfather and if so how you felt about the kid.
I don’t love her kids like I do my own…. And I’m wondering if that feeling will be the same for grandkids. I know every situation is different…. Just would love to hear about others experience.
