--- K'Lavon Chaisson has finished up his Florida official visit. As is always the case with Chaisson, he's not saying much (or anything) about the visit. Our Florida site did get him to pick up, but Chaisson said he's not doing interviews. Based off his snapchat video of the trip, it looks like he had a good time, but that's pretty much to be expected.

A couple notes of interest on this one ...

I was told by an LSU source that LSU's confidence level "is much higher than it was two weeks ago."

The info on Chaisson is all over the map. Consider this ...

I got a text from a Colorado source on Saturday: "I'm hearing all Texas. Sources say Texas then Colorado actually."

I'm not sure I buy that and even the person I communicated with said it was probably "wishful thinking" on CU's part, but it goes to show you how hard this one is to pin down.

My gut still says Texas, but I certainly wouldn't bet the house on it. As I wrote on Thursday night, I don't think Chaisson has even made up his mind. And he may not until Wednesday.

FYI, North Shore will have a National Signing Day ceremony at 10:35 a.m.

--- DE Ryan Johnson and OL Samuel Cosmi are finishing up their official visits. Johnson tells me he'll be flying back home in a couple hours.

Johnson and Cosmi have been pretty quiet all weekend, aside from a couple tweets from Johnson:

Still feels like it's going to be tough to pry Johnson away from Auburn, especially since Auburn is making him a top priority. I'm hoping to connect with Johnson this afternoon to get his thoughts on the UT visit.

Cosmi has been silent all weekend, but this one just makes sense for Texas.

--- My LSU source said DB Amik Robertson is not a guaranteed take for the Tigers. If LSU pushes for a commit, that's probably where he lands. If not, this one could get interesting over the next few days ... and maybe even past that.

--- Linebacker Brandon Thompson included Texas in his top five today, but that one's not happening for UT. Thompson had two visits left this week but took them to Florida State and Baylor, so it's hard to see a scenario where he winds up at Texas.

1:30 p.m. update - Interesting note here ... I mentioned it in the OP, but DB Amik Robertson told me just now that he may take things past National Signing Day so he can visit Texas. He wants to have a decision on Tuesday night but if he just doesn't feel great about it, he's going to wait past NSD.
