For me it was better than average. Dr. Dre was very good. I like Snoop. Wasn't a big fan of the rest.

But it's ok if it's your team that's doing it. If you're not cheating you're not trying.
To me the issue with any SB halftime show - regardless of genre - is having too many performers and limited time. If some of the performers only get 1 song the event is too choppy. 5 acts is too many. They should’ve just stuck with Dre and Snoop and it would’ve been a better production. 2 acts is a concert - 5 acts is a Broadway production at a football game. Doesn’t work.
Or they could actually book quality, talented performers. What they had yesterday was incoherent thug garbage. It's unbelievable that people actually like that crap. That ain't music.
Why do they waste at least 10 mil for a 60 second ad with Larry David who has never been and never will be funny. The WP called it the worst of the SB commercials. I agree.
They had drums, piano, trumpet, etc. It was definitely music. Not really my cup of tea, but I was entertained. Dr. Dre is a music legend, like him or not. And I don't particularly like him.
That said, the show has been pretty overrated. Prisoners of the moment.
I don't even know what this means cali. It was a penalty 100%. It was a ridiculous miss. I had not team yesterday.
I'm joking about all this. You probably remember Spike Dykes he coached at TT about 25 years ago. He talked about a game he coached in high school. There was an 18 wheeler parked next to the stadium. He told his players every stick of furniture I own is in that truck. They told me that if I lose this game just to go on out of town. He said those idiots actually believed it. He said it's been 25 years and they still haven't figured out that I made it all up. The writer asked why he would say something like that. He laughed and told the writer of you're not willing to say or do whatever it takes to win you'll never make it in coaching. I laughed like hell when I read that story. A coach who flat out said it. He was and average coach but with the exception of Lou Holtz Spike Dykes was the funniest coach ever. 😂
So thats the kind of joke I was trying to make. Didn't do them any good the Rams anyway.

Tony used to have to stop and get a toll ticket. Meadow drove straight through with a toll pass.
After the bridge, a scene of a cemetery, now it was a kids park.
Instead of her smoking a cigar like Tony, she had a lollipop.

Nice winning wager on the 1st one. I don’t know what the teaser is. I thought the 3 other wagers were good calls pre-game, but who knew both team’s rushing would be shut down. Also, I figured Burrow would have ran more due to their OL issues

Yes, I hit the straight bet and the teaser bet, but missed on the prop bets. For the SB, I ended up netting just shy of $1K. Could be better. Could be worse.
I thought it was great. That's probably because I grew up listening to those guys though. It was better than some of the garbage they have thrown out there in recent years.
MM I dont make sports bets, but I spend hours and thousands in Casinos. Here is a tip....ANY time you come out ahead is a gift, even if it is a regular thing. NEVER get pissed off at coming out ahead. What sends gamblers into bankruptcy is getting the idea in their head..."I could have made more"...that simple notion is what kills.

I have a local guy that has an internet based wagering set up that I play with some. For the SB, a friend of mine went to the Wynn in Vegas and placed a bet for me. It's pretty cool that if you win you can fill out the back of the ticket, send it in via certified mail and they will mail you a check. That way you don't have to make a trip to Vegas to cash the ticket at the window.
90% of the NFL athletes more than likely listen to that same music. I grew up listening to Dre and Snoop but to me the best halftime show was MJ.
There was plenty of talent on that stage that night. Could of done without Mary imo and 50 cent and could of had a better song with Kendrick. Dre is the 4th richest rapper in the world Eminem is right behind him. Lots of history of hip hop was on that stage starting with Dre and going into Snoop with playing a song by Tupac (Dre made the beat). And you probably don't know this but those buildings or stages they were standing on had significance to Compton. One of the building was the court house and another a popular burger joint. There is some history for you.
You're talking over my head, lol. I don't care for rap and don't get why it is so popular. I'll stick to traditional country and classic rock.
I listen to that as well, well more classic rock but I won't back away from listen to traditional country.
When I was watching Eminem I thought how did he get so tall all of a sudden? Then my wife noticed he was hearing a hat that was 2 inches high. Then we noticed he was wearing a couple 2 inch lifts. You know he's not that tall he's only 5'7". I thought it was funny.
I don't go to the casinos much in Vegas anymore. No reason to ever leave the books as nice as they are now

Man at this point I just admire the longevity. I hope he doesn't turn out like Favre and hold on too long
