For sake of argument, let’s RBG retires late in the election cycle and the turtle pushes through Comey Barrett. Is it plausible for the Dems to expand the court? How do they overcome...popular backlash, probably not controlling all three branches, a preemptive strike expansion by Republicans, and a legal challenge to any law resulting in expansion that would ultimately go to a 6-3 court?
