Schools are going to be gutting non revenue sports like swimming after the House settlement. Texas is dropping 13 mens scholarships in swimming.
Kid update. Recent 'A' level USA meet in Arlington.
2300-I think I asked you before, but what events are his specialty? What age? Both my daughters swam/swim, not at that level, but club. I'm the best damn volunteer timer you will ever have!
I parked right outside that place for the Texas Ohio State game didnt know that was there, but was very interested in seeing it. Was a swimmer back in my day and loved it. Just stopped when I got into school and moving here to DFW from West Texas where swimming wasn't a thing at my high school and had to be bus across town to the other high school for swim to group up with them. If I would of stayed in West Texas I would of gone to State as a team all my 4 years of high school......Kid update. Recent 'A' level USA meet in Arlington.
He turned 13 in late November. His A times are 200 IM, 50-100 free, 100 fly, 100 breast, BBB- 100 back.

Yes, Arlington has a top notch swim facility. Clean, gaurds, wow. I didn't expect that.
I would have loved to try swimming as a kid but I went to Aledo where there was football and offseason football. Those were the choices.
Of course it's guarded. In Arlington you could have a random "Draw Mohammad" contest anywhere and will be in need of security. Especially in the parking lot.

Most of Arlington is a sh!thole but but it's spreading. Would you be surprised to know that Frisco is also a sh!thole? This happened last weekend... Avoid the usual suspects, be armed and with video if you encounter one in the wild.
