He going to enter as a TE but he is coming out as a used car salesmen.
He is a big guy, decent speed, I don't know how his hands are but if he can catch he might be able to do it
Hes a specimen. And hes durable as heck. Id like to think theres a place for him in the league.
It's funny to see people talking about him not liking contact, the dud doesn't mind contact.... Now, can he block?
He was a very timid runner in 2014. He improved greatly in that area past couple of years.
Not having any film at tight end could be an advantage so a lot will depend on the underwear olympics. He is going to measure well. Should be a legit 6'5" and in the 240-250 range. Depends on what his agents want to do with his body. If he runs in the 4.7 range and looks good catching passes he could go in the 4th or 5th round.
He has to get his pad level lower. Otherwise, he will get hurt in the NFL running around straight-up.
Too bad the coaching staff in college didn't realize he was destined to be a TE. I remember Charlie saying that in an early presser in his first year. He should have gone that route. The short yardage package was only partially effective. He could have been used and developed as what he should have been. This is why you don't thrust QBs who don't pass the ball in HS in to passing QB roles in their first year.
