Man I love SXSW. It officially starts today with all the Tech and Film events with the music side of things begin on Monday. I have never actually paid to be part of the official SXSW events but love coming in for at least a day soaking up all the energy of the city being full of out of towners and music being presented everywhere all day. I plan on making Wednesday as my SXSW marathon day by heading over to Scholz for their morning shows and then to C-Boys for their SOCO Stomp which includes three of my local favorites, Kelly Willis, Tomar and the FC's and the Peterson Brothers plus Will Johnson and Wire Mountain who I haven't seen before but have heard good things. After that 6 hours of music I will probably walk downtown to catch some of the vibe on 6h before I head on over to the Saxon Pub at 8 to catch their free shows.
