Watching that CFP national championship last night, it really struck me how much better of a game we gave OSU in the Cotton Bowl. Going into that game, everyone thought we were going to get hammered, and we were literally within a 1st and goal from the 1 of tying that game up. If you look at super blue rankings over the last four recruiting classes…we have 20 (rated 6.0 and 6.1). Then you add our portal super blues on top of that.
If you look at Notre Dame, they have half as many that we do at 10…and they got crushed. OSU has 19.
I think the reality is that we should be reloading, and the truth of the matter is that we can play with anybody for the simple reason that there really isn’t a team that has done much better than us over the last four recruiting classes of accumulating blue chip talent.
Simple as that.
