Baylor offensive coordinator Kendal Briles met with NCAA officials in Indianapolis Wednesday, regarding potential NCAA recruiting violations, sources told ESPN's Brett McMurphy and Mark Schlabach. Briles' violations included improper contact with a recruit. Baylor officials are attempting to get the level of infractions reduced, a source said. Specific details about the alleged violations weren't immediately known. Briles has been at Baylor since 2008 and is in his second season as the Bears' offensive coordinator. He is regarded as the Bears' top recruiter and was named Big 12 recruiter of the year in 2014 by the websites Rivals, Scout and 247Sports.
Same incident that he was suspended 1 game for last year. I think the reason he is meeting with the NCAA is to get the reprimands reduced. A lot of hoopla about nothing.
