I have no doubt that there is some discontent regarding Sark. Still a lot of tough games left. A lot can happen, both good and bad. I find it funny that neither your or Bell finds any fault in Venables. He's not all that.

There can be grumbling but he's not going anywhere, he's been very clear it's a process. Gabriel had a rough game today but has put up plenty of points to win even against KSU. We have no depth on defense and and we cannot generate a pass rush with our front 3 or 4. That's being addressed in recruiting but it can't happen overnight. I saw 2 true freshman play on the Dline today, that's not because they're in the rotation, that's because BV is looking for players.

There is nothing to really “turn around” We lost a one point game to the the #2 team in the country and lost a game in a place that has given us trouble for decades. It happens.
Of course Venables isn't going anywhere. It's only his first year there as HC. What you and some OU fans stubbornly won't admit is that the best description of him is a HC is that he's "ok" and not really noteworthy.

You can't set a line on a game for the following week while one is in progress. At this point, it hasn't been made public the extent of OU's injuries and their players availability for next week, and the unknown of what might happen injury-wise in the Texas game.
Way too early to tell my friend, give him an opportunity to get some of his guys playing. A consistent qb would probably go a long way too but we're playing the hand we're dealt.
