We just aren't a very good football team. Our lack of depth is as obvious as a burlesque dancer with a popped bra strap. We have some athletes on the field but organizing them and getting them moving in a singular direction is proving almost impossible.

We can't tackle for sh!t. Did you see our DB completely BOW down as he went to tackle the Kansas RB and got his neck jammed? Ya, that's some pop Warner sh!t right there. When we arrive to tackle, guys are simply bumping the offensive player with the ball.

Know why?

Because we don't tackle during practice. We bump. And in the heat of the moment, your brain does what it does during the repetitive process---- aka--- you play how you practice.

We are soft on defense. in the last three weeks we have given up 3 sacks to WVU, 9 to Oklahoma and another 3 to Kansas.
In those same 3 weeks, guess how many sacks we have recorded.

Think really hard.

No seriously, think really hard.

Figure it out yet?

Zero. Nada. Zip. Rolled a donut.

15 sacks in 3 weeks means we suck ass on the offensive line and our WRs can't get open.
I understand we have injuries. I understand we have 3 down lineman (stupid). But I don't give a sh!t. This is big boy football. You're a blue blood program. You're supposed to build depth and develop players. We are doing little of either. I get that Kansas has a new OC. I don't care about that either. This is big boy football. Adjust.

On offense, Cosmi has gone from a possible first day draft pick to becoming a lawn dart. Dude is just whiffing on some of his assignments. It ain't hard dude. See that dude in front of you? See that dude behind you? Stay in between them. See how easy that sh!t is? If it's hard, then quit your day job and move to Mexico and start training to be a Matador. It's a good living and the women will love you. Our offensive line is so bad that they make our DL look like rockstars-- and that's the ame DLine that hasn't had a sack in the last 3 games.

Uhhhhhh---- now my blood pressure is going up again. Rant over.

What the hell happened from the beginning of the season until now? Our O line looked good against LSU. The whole team looks like they lost their confidence or something. They all look out of sync.

How’s that bean burrito diet working for you? Still on track to visit Austin on Monday and provide some olfactory offense motivation?

Defensive line. My bad. I should have said defensive line. Thank you for straightening that out.

Truth be told..We in a world of shit right now!

OK! I was proud of our effort with LSU, which was my first draft pick in my FB Pool, because I knew how good LSU was going to be, so what happened to us after our great effort against LSU? Have we had that many injuries? and are we really that thin in the ranks?

Or did something else happen?

Have you not seen the defense lineup Texas is forced to trot out? They started multiple true frosh first time staters last week, had six starters injured and by end of the game had a walk-on at safety.
There’s no way out of bad results in that situation.

I recall reading prior to season's start that we returned the fewest starters of almost any program, I just did not know how extensively we were injured, and had no idea we actually had to play a walk-on...that is thin!

But you can't play or practice in a "let's limit the injuries" mode. What Clob was saying about not tackling in practice scares the hell out of me. To think we have gone from the team who played LSU to a standstill, to a team that almost lost to Kansas at home, not only scares me, it also makes me mad as hell.
