On a recent podcast covering Stephen King, this show was recommended. Apparently King himself thinks it is one of the more terrifying shows he has seen in years.
Last night I finished season 1 (3 seasons total). For those who like to watch a little horror, suspense and mystery -- this is your show. King wasn't lying. There are some really scary moments. Overall the show is a mix of Lost meets a modern horror novel. Nobody is safe and there is no escape.
Slight spoiler, I wonder if some of what viewers assume is supernatural on the show is actually human or subversive people in the town.
