This manufactured rivalry their fanbase is trying to push is honestly hilarious to me. I’ve lost count of the anti-Texas tweets I’ve seen coming from Tennessee fan accounts. They’ve unanimously sided with A&M in the whole Schloss saga as well, which is rich. I don’t know where all this hate came from, as I genuinely don’t have any feelings towards that school or their fanbase. They exist, and that’s about as far as my emotions go towards them.
Regarding their beef with us and which school is the “real UT”, I personally couldn’t care less what they or any other SEC school calls us. Call us “tu”, call us “UTjr”, call us “UTA”… Call us whatever tf you want, but just know when we inevitably wax that ass, it was TEXAS that did it to you.
