Monday 10:20 a.m. update - Carter has officially decommitted from Georgia.

Piggybacking off our Georgia site's reporting here, but it does not look like Langham Creek RB Toneil Carter will be enrolling early at Georgia, which has been the plan all along.

Georgia RBs Nick Chubb and Sony Michel recently announced they're returning to Georgia for the 2017 season, so UGA suddenly has a loaded depth chart.

Georgia basically doesn't have the room to take Carter early, and Carter wants to play somewhere right away. Several schools, including Texas, Baylor, A&M and Florida have already been in touch.

Remember, Carter was planning to take an official visit to Texas before the dead period but changed his mind at the last minute. Not sure yet where this one will go, but it's obviously something we'll be watching closely. With Texas' need for RBs and Carter's desire to play early, this one makes a lot of sense.
