Check out the weekend preview here in case you missed it - WEEKEND PREVIEW
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Horns are back in action as they take on #3 Georgia Bulldogs.
After winning Friday night and Saturday, securing their second Top 5 series win in the SEC and season, the Horns now turn their attention to sweeping the series.
On the mound, the Horns have RHP Ruger "Mustache Mentality" Riojas leading the charge, while Georgia will counter with the veteran righty, Leighton Finley. Despite sporting an ERA over 6, Finley has some good stuff and will challenge the Horns at the plate.
Weather wise, it is another cold and blustery day at Disch-Falk field with 20-25+ mph winds blowing from left to right, which should make it a pitcher friendly day.
Pitching and defense will of course be at a premium on a day when a single run could make a major difference in the outcome of the game.
In talking to folks before the weekend, they felt like Texas had the upper hand on Sunday from a pitching perspective, but Georgia still has a very dangerous lineup and will want to prove themselves after back to back losses where they were kept largely in check.
Bundle up, say your Sunday prayers, and lock in for what should be a fun matchup between two Top 5 teams.
