Four-game series this weekend at No. 4 Stanford will be huge! Nine of our next 11 games come against teams currently ranked No. 16 or higher.

I hate that we chronically underperform in our series with the Trees (all-time series record is 35-42-1). Hope we can start turning it in our favor this weekend.

I'd take 2-2. 3-1 would be outstanding! I'm going to the Saturday Tech game on 3/16 and one of the Arkansas games, either 3/19 or 3/20. This team has a special feel about it.

Looking at stanford's box scores so far this year--- they've won a ton of close games. They aren't knocking the cover off the ball or scoring a ton of runs by any means, but all these close wins indicate that they don't quit. They believe they can win any game no matter how far down they are.

This could be a very interesting series.

My apologies for nearly jinxing the Horns by ignoring last night's game against UTRGV in the original post.

Texas trailed 3-1 in the eighth. Austin Todd tied it up with a two-run single, the Horns picked up another run on a sac fly, and Quintanilla closed it out in the ninth.

On to the Trees!

Another come from behind win for the Horns last night. Again, this is the kind of moxie that Texas baseball is made of, and what has been historical over the years, but has been missing for almost the last decade. Texas is never, EVER out of a baseball game. They always find a way to scratch and fight back for some improbable wins. THAT is Texas baseball!

Man it's nice that most of UT athletics are doing well again. Come on mens bball, you're behind the curve.
Couldn't have come at a better time due to my Spurs settling into mediocrity & Texans can't quite figure out what to do. Stroz are at the top still and the jury is still out on the SA Commanders.
