The Horns will look to rebound after getting rocked in game one to the tune of 14 runs on 18 hits. After starting out strongly against the Wildcats and jumping out to a 3 run lead, starter LBJ imploded. Then reliever Cody Howard got rocked and the rocking kept on. Freshman Hudson Hamilton helped eat some innings but also ended up giving up a few runs, while the Texas offense went stone cold until the last inning. In a recurring theme, the Horns scored early and late, but continue to fail to score in the middle innings.

Tonight the Horns will look to replicate the same strategy that they had against Baylor, coming out strong and getting a strong performance from starter Ace Whitehead.
